At 08:19 on Friday, 24 May, 2019, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire in Gobowen.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Oswestry.

Crews were called to an AFA but upon arrival discovered that there had been a fire in the kiln. The fire was out prior to arrival of Fire Service.
