At 21:12 on Friday, 24 May, 2019, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Ratlinghope.

2 fire appliances including the Incident Support Unit were mobilised from Minsterley.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet
• Thermal imaging camera

Bonfire which has spread to nearby area of bracken approximately 10m x 20m.
