At 15:17 on Tuesday, 28 May, 2019, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Craven Arms.

Reports of railway sleeper on fire in front of stationary train at Bucknell Fire Station. Incident involved 2 railway sleepers extinguished prior to arrival of fire service. Fire crews cooling sleepers and thermal imaging camera in use.
