At 08:25 on Saturday, 15 June, 2019, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as Animal Rescue in Whitchurch.

2 fire appliances including the Rescue Tender were mobilised from Wellington and Wem. An Operations officer was in attendance.

1 horse assisted from open water using animal rescue equipment.
