At 13:18 on Sunday, 23 June, 2019, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Property Fire in Newport.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Newport and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet
• Small gear

Small fire in cavity of studded wall. Crew used small tools to cut away.
