At 20:02 on Monday, 24 June, 2019, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as Flooding in Wellington.

5 fire appliances including the Rescue Tender and the Water Rescue Unit were mobilised from Shrewsbury and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

2 cars trapped in flood water during flash flooding. First car pulled clear prior to fire service arrival, 2nd car removed from flood water by fire service personnel.
