At 19:43 on Thursday, 27 June, 2019, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Bonfire.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Cleobury Mortimer.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

  • Hosereel jet
  • Rakes, shovels, mathooks

Crews have extinguished an out of control bonfire using 1 hose reel jet and drag rakes

Build bonfires well clear of buildings and never use flammable liquids to start the fire. Before you light the bonfire, check that children and animals are not hiding inside and are a safe distance away. Don't leave bonfires unattended. Don't light bonfires in unsuitable weather conditions.
