At 19:50 on Saturday, 29 June, 2019, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as Animal Rescue.

3 fire appliances including the Rescue Tender were mobilised from Minsterley and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Attending crews used the following equipment:

Also at the scene of the incident were: a vet.

Succesful rescue of horse with legs stuck in cattle grid. Crews used holmatro, and specialist animal rescue equipment, to free horse. A vet was also in attendance.
