At 10:19 on Monday, 1 July, 2019, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as Animal Rescue in Sutton Hill, Telford.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Telford Central.

Attending crews used the following equipment:

Also at the scene of the incident were: the RSPCA.

One adult swallow and one hatchling swallow released by Fire Service personnel from a boiler flue using small tools and a short extension ladder. The RSPCA were also present.
