At 10:50 on Wednesday, 3 July, 2019, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Grass Fire in near Eardington Crossing, Bridgnorth .

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Bridgnorth.

Report of a fire on the railway embankment. On arrival this was found to be a fire approximately 7m x 3m which was extinguished by the fire crew using beaters and 1 knapsack sprayer.
