At 13:12 on Sunday, 7 July, 2019, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as Animal Rescue.

3 fire appliances including the Rescue Tender were mobilised from Cleobury Mortimer and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Also at the scene of the incident were: a vet.

Fire crews and animal rescue crews assisted elderly horse to stand after getting in to difficulties in stream. Animal rescue equipment and head harness were used.
