At 12:27 on Monday, 8 July, 2019, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Oswestry.

2 fire appliances including the Incident Support Unit were mobilised from Oswestry.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Beaters
• Knapsacks
• Small gear

Unattended bonfire - small amount of waste extinguished using drag hooks and knapsacks.
