At 16:25 on Wednesday, 17 July, 2019, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Smoke In Area in Telford.

2 fire appliances including the Incident Support Unit were mobilised from Telford Central and Tweedale.

This incident was a false alarm with good intent
