At 17:42 on Tuesday, 13 August, 2019, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in leighton .

2 fire appliances including the Incident Support Unit were mobilised from Much Wenlock and Telford Central.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Beaters

fire involving 3 seperate seats of fire crews used 1 hose reel jet , beaters and fogging system to extinguish
