At 23:26 on Wednesday, 14 August, 2019, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting that a Road Traffic Collision had taken place in Knockin Heath.

4 fire appliances including the Rescue Tender were mobilised from Baschurch, Oswestry and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Land Ambulance Service .

RTC involving 2 cars, one of which had left the road and come to rest in a field. A total of 5 casualties were involved, with one person being released by Fire Service Personnel using Holmatro cutting equipment.
