At 21:44 on Wednesday, 4 September, 2019, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Property Fire in Newport.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Newport and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Covering jet
• Hosereel jet
• Thermal imaging camera

1 domestic garage and contents involved in fire. Electricity supply isolated.
