At 20:24 on Tuesday, 17 September, 2019, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Bonfire in Oswestry.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Oswestry.

Large bonfire approximately 15m x 5m consisting of hedge cuttings, conifers and cut timber. Crews used 2 hose reel jets and drake rakes to extinguish.
