At 15:33 on Friday, 20 September, 2019, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting that a Road Traffic Collision had taken place in between M54W Juction 7 and A5 Preston Island, .

3 fire appliances were mobilised from Much Wenlock and Shrewsbury.

RTC involving 5 vehicles. 1 person trapped. Holmatro cutting gear used to extricate casualty.
