At 19:47 on Tuesday, 24 September, 2019, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting that a Road Traffic Collision had taken place in Newport.

2 fire appliances including the Rescue Tender were mobilised from Albrighton, Telford Central and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to deal with the incident:

• Cutters/Spreaders

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Land Ambulance Service and the Police.

Road traffic collision involving two vehicles. 1 person self extricated prior to Fire Service arrival. 1 person extricated using holmatro gear, now in care of ambulance service. Crews making scene safe.
