At 06:17 on Sunday, 6 October, 2019, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as House Fire in Dawley.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Tweedale and Wellington.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Covering jet
• Hosereel jet
• Positive Pressure Ventilation

Fire involving electric dehumidifier in a single storey ground floor flat now extinguished by fire crews using 1 Hose Reel Jet
