At 01:47 on Saturday, 19 October, 2019, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting that a Road Traffic Collision had taken place in Newport.

3 fire appliances were mobilised from Newport and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to deal with the incident:

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Land Ambulance Service and the Police.

RTC involving 2 vehicles, 2 casualties released by fire service using holmatro cutting equipment.
