At 21:44 on Monday, 21 October, 2019, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Ludlow.

2 fire appliances including the Incident Support Unit were mobilised from Ludlow.

This incident turned out to be a controlled burn by the premises owner. 1 appliance from Hereford and Worcester was also in attendance.
