At 16:37 on Friday, 8 November, 2019, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Chimney Fire in Cound.

1 fire appliance including the Aerial Ladder Platform was mobilised from Much Wenlock and Shrewsbury.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Chimney rods
• Small gear

One chimney alight, rods and small gear in use. Aerial ladder platform also mobilised for access to chimney pot.
