At 18:56 on Monday, 25 November, 2019, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Smoke Issuing in Oswestry.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Oswestry. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Reports of smoke issuing from the church. This incident was a false alarm, caused by steam from heating system.
