At 02:55 on Saturday, 7 December, 2019, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as Animal Rescue in Ludlow.

3 fire appliances including the Rescue Tender were mobilised from Cleobury Mortimer and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Also at the scene of the incident were: a vet.

Horse assisted to feet using HIAB and animal rescue equipment.
