At 10:10 on Friday, 27 December, 2019, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Chimney Fire in Oswestry.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Oswestry. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• 9/10.5m ladder
• Chimney rods
• Hosereel jet
• Stirrup pump

This incident involved a chimney fire producing smoke within the property which crews extinguished.
