At 19:16 on Saturday, 4 January, 2020, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Chimney Fire in Ellesmere.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Ellesmere.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Thermal imaging camera

Reports of sparks seen from chimney pot. Inspection only by fire service personnel using thermal imaging camera.
