At 21:19 on Sunday, 5 January, 2020, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Smoke Issuing From Roof in Wheat Common, Ludlow.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Ludlow.

Report of smoke issuing from roof of domestic property. This incident was a false alarm caused by a controlled burn. Fire safety advice given to occupier.
