At 02:16 on Monday, 6 January, 2020, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Property Fire in Electricity Sub Station, Vanguard Way, Harlescott.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Shrewsbury.

Incident involving fire inside sub station. Engineers had used CO2 extinguishers prior to fire service arrival.
