At 17:26 on Tuesday, 7 January, 2020, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Chimney Fire in Shrewsbury.

2 fire appliances including the Incident Support Unit were mobilised from Bridgnorth and Much Wenlock.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Chimney rods

This incident involved a chimney fire which officers extinguished using chimney rods.
