At 18:53 on Saturday, 18 January, 2020, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as House Fire in Wem.

3 fire appliances were mobilised from Hodnet, Prees and Wem. Operations and Fire Investigation officers were in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Hosereel jet
• Small gear

Fire on 1st floor of domestic terraced property. 1 dog rescued by Fire Service personnel.
