At 20:38 on Monday, 20 January, 2020, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Chimney Fire in Weirbrook, West Felton.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Oswestry.

Fire involving log burner and chimney in living room of 2 storey detached property. Chimney gear used to extinguish fire and thermal imaging camera used to check for further hot spots.
