At 07:44 on Wednesday, 12 February, 2020, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as AFA in Linden Centre, King Street, Dawley.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Telford Central.

Call to AFA actuated. On arrival fire crew discovered that there had been a small fire involving an electrical convector heater. 2 breathing apparatus and positive pressure ventilation system in use to clear smoke from building.
