At 14:37 on Monday, 17 February, 2020, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as Flooding in Shrewsbury .

2 fire appliances including the Water Rescue Unit were mobilised from Shrewsbury. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews assisted 6 residents to leave their properties along Chester Street and Cross Street, which have been affected by flooding.
