At 13:02 on Wednesday, 19 February, 2020, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as SSC Non Urgent in Newport.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Newport.

Attending crews used the following equipment:

One 18 month old infant released from locked car by Fire Service Personnel using small tools to break rear quarter window. The child was left safe and well in the care of his parents.
