At 21:31 on Thursday, 5 March, 2020, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Persons Reported Fire in Ludlow.

3 fire appliances including the Incident Support Unit were mobilised from Craven Arms and Ludlow. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Covering jet
• Hosereel jet

Fire in kitchen area of 1st floor flat, occupier led to safety by fire crew
