At 08:32 on Monday, 9 March, 2020, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as SSC Urgent.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Shrewsbury.

Reports of man stranded in flood water in vehicle. Vehicle was stranded in 18 inches of standing water on roadway. Fire Service assisted to move vehicle to dry area and aided one male occupant from vehicle. No first aid was required
