At 18:25 on Thursday, 26 March, 2020, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as House Fire in Stanton on Hine Heath.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Hodnet and Wem. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Covering jet
• Hosereel jet
• Thermal imaging camera

This incident involved a small fire which was caused by unattended cooking. Crews vented the property.
