At 16:41 on Friday, 27 March, 2020, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire in Market Drayton .

7 fire appliances including the Incident Support Unit and the Rescue Tender were mobilised from Hodnet, Market Drayton, Newport, Telford Central and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Hosereel jet
• Main jet
• Rakes, shovels, mathooks
• Small gear
• Thermal imaging camera

This incident involved contents of a wood chip silo caused by faulty machinery.
