At 10:48 on Sunday, 29 March, 2020, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Tree Fire in Ellesmere.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Ellesmere.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet
• Short extension ladder

This incident involved a controlled burning which then spread to a nearby rotten tree
