At 13:50 on Sunday, 29 March, 2020, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Shrewsbury.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Baschurch.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet
• Small gear
• Thermal imaging camera

This incident involved a garden bonfire which had spread to a nearby pile of logs
