At 12:40 on Thursday, 23 April, 2020, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Shifnal .

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Telford.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet
• Rakes, shovels, mathooks

Fire involving quantity of wood and pallets. Fire caused by out of control bonfire. Drag rakes and two hose reel jets used to extinguish fire.
