At 22:18 on Sunday, 3 May, 2020, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Chimney Fire in Monkmoor Road, Shrewsbury.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Shrewsbury.

Excessive sparks from chimney was found to be due to broken glass on the log burner. No action required by fire crew.
