At 18:18 on Monday, 11 May, 2020, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Bonfire in Doctors Meadow, Ruyton X1 Towns .

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Baschurch.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet
• Rakes, shovels, mathooks
• Thermal imaging camera

Reports of a domestic bonfire out of control. Damage to adjacent summerhouse, roofing and guttering from heat although not involved in fire.
