At 03:06 on Wednesday, 20 May, 2020, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Kitchen Fire in King Street, Dawley.

3 fire appliances were mobilised from Telford Central and Wellington.

Small fire in kitchen of domestic property. 1 hose reel jet and 2 breathing apparatus used. Positive pressure ventilation system used to assist with clearing smoke from the property.
