At 10:22 on Sunday, 24 May, 2020, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Market Drayton.

2 fire appliances including the Incident Support Unit were mobilised from Hodnet and Market Drayton.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Main jet
• Rakes, shovels, mathooks

Fire involving commercial waste, trees and stumps. Extinguished using 2 main jets and drag hooks.
