At 10:19 on Wednesday, 27 May, 2020, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Oswestry.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Oswestry.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Covering jet
• Hosereel jet
• Thermal imaging camera

This incident involved fence panels which had spread to a down pipe. Crews checked the wall cavity and extinguished the fire.
