At 22:07 on Wednesday, 27 May, 2020, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Smoke In Area in Adney, Newport .

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Newport.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet

This incident involved approximately 3-4 tonnes of trees & brambles being burned by occupier. One small separate fire extinguished using one hose reel jet due to fire spread.
