At 13:36 on Thursday, 28 May, 2020, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Edgmond.

2 fire appliances including the Incident Support Unit were mobilised from Newport.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet

This incident involved hedgerow and undergrowth alight. Crews extinguished using 1 hosereel jet and a fogging unit.
