At 13:24 on Saturday, 30 May, 2020, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Shrewsbury.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Baschurch and Shrewsbury.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Police.

Fire involving approx. 70 metres of embankment. Crews using 3 hose reel jets to extinguish,
